Eishtec Training Academy launched
Call centre firm Eishtec has launched a training academy at the South Regional College (SRC) in Portadown. The three-week academy will equip 20 applicants with the skills needed to apply for customer service positions with Eishtec.
This latest development comes weeks after the County Waterford company announced the creation of 320 jobs at new offices in Craigavon, providing a much-needed employment boost for the area.
Eishtec’s Operational Director, Colm Tracey, said: “Since beginning our venture into Northern Ireland we have had a strong working relationship with SRC and feel this is a natural step to increasing our workforce with its support.
“We have seen our team grow with strong individuals since opening the doors in April and we are excited to help provide an opportunity for those that want to become part of the telecommunications industry and in particular the Eishtec family.”
Under the assured skills initiative, the academy has been established by the Department for Employment and Learning, Eishtec UK Limited and the South Regional College.
