Almac Group wins at European Business Awards

Craigavon’s Almac Group has won a prestigious award at the final of the European Business Awards in London.

Almac picked up the UK Trade and Investment Award for Innovation at the event, which was attended by prominent businesses leaders, European ambassadors and political representatives from the EU. Over 24,000 businesses entered the awards and Almac was one of only 11 to win on the night.

Michael Sloan, Vice President for  Business Development at Almac Diagnostics, said that the company was “absolutely thrilled” to be viewed as among the top businesses in Europe.

Sloan added: “This is a major accolade for us as the European Business Awards programme is widely recognised as one of the most challenging competitions in Europe presided over by an esteemed panel of judges.”
