GCSEs
- 83.3 per cent of year 12 students attained five or more GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A* to C

A-levels
- 13,253 year 14 students were eligible for A-level examinations
- 59.6 per cent of year 14 pupils attend grammar schools

- Females generally outperformed their male peers: 68.6 per cent achieved three or more A-levels compared with 63.3 per cent of male students
- 76.3 per cent of grammar school students achieved three or more A-levels at grades A* to C compared with 51.5 per cent of non-grammar
- 53.6 per cent of year 14 FSME students achieved three or more A-levels at grades A*-C compared with 69 per cent of non-FSME students

- 42.9 per cent of leavers continued into higher education
- This is an increase of 1.2 per cent on 2010/11
- 50.3 per cent of female leavers and 35.7 per cent of male

- 81.4 per cent of leavers not entitled to free school meals continued into higher or further education

- 7.7 per cent of full-time first degree entrants (2014/15) were no longer in higher education in 2015/16
- 76.7 per cent of full-time degree entrants (2013/14) who took a year out in 2014/15 did not return to higher education in 2015/16
- 84.3 per cent of full-time first degree students entering higher education courses are expected to obtain a degree
